Brandix signs MoU with Andhra University

Brandix Apparel India is committed to create around 60,000 jobs in Apparel Park at Visakhapatnam district of the state of Andhra Pradesh in the next five years, said Mr. Udena Wickremesooriya, Director of the company.

He was speaking after signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Andhra University, which is company's first-ever pact following the establishment of the project in Visakhapatnam.

The Director assured that the promised number of jobs would be definitely generated by the Brandix, which had remained unaffected by the economic slump.

The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof. B. Satyanarayana said that the company could avail the benefit from the expertise available in the university and it would also open the avenue of great opportunities for the students.

At present, the apparel park has created jobs for around 4,000 people.
