AEPC invites Ms Delphine to conduct Fashion Forecast

Apparel Export Promotion Council (AEPC) has invited Ms.Delphine Lonjou, Fashion Consultant from a renowned fashion consultancy firm M/s Promostyl, Paris to conduct Fashion Forecast seminars for Spring/ Summer 2011.

The schedule & programme of the seminars is given below:
Gurgaon : 17th March, 2010 (Wednesday)
Jaipur : 18th March, 2010 (Thursday)
Ludhiana : 20th March, 2010 (Saturday)
Tirupur : 22nd March, 2010 (Monday)
Bangalore : 23rd March, 2010 (Tuesday)
Mumbai : 25th March, 2010 (Thursday)

The seminar will cover:
- Sectors like Men, Women, Knitwear, Woven & Casual and Formal Wear for Men & Women,
- “Making of the Trends”-a 30 minute film on new products, currents origin and new spaces,
- Season's important trend directions, color range and key color harmonies, including the pantone and NCS references
- Clear and concrete solutions on fashion trends 18 to 24 months in advance
- 4 up-coming trends with a visual (concentration of the last major socio-cultural events and design directions) with influences in terms of design, fashion, lifestyle, cosmetics, art, colours, fabrics, etc.
- 4 Promostyl's themes that include a descrition of the "New Attitudes", corresponding Values and Lifestyles and some propositions of concepts and applications to various sectors.
- Show case of the trendbooks on Influence, Colours, Women, Men and Knitwear.

About the Speaker: Delphine Lonjou
Ms. Delphine is graduated from the Ravensbourne College of fashion, in London. She is a womenswear designer with 10 years of experience. She works for Promostyl Special Project branch and is in charge of special projects (consulting) which have given her full responsibility for womenswear, menswear and accessories clients, helping them on their collection's development and orientation of trends, colors, materials and products. She knows about sourcing, product development as well as product's fabrication process. She has worked for top of the range names such as Nicole Farhi, Karen Millen, and John Galliano, among others. Ms. Lonjou also deals with the Making of the trends, the Men's trends book and influences trends book. Her experience is in major distribution and middle range products. She has worked for 13 years for French companies such as Etam, Kiabi, Les 3 suisses, DKNY. Ms. Lonjou also heads the position of councilor where she determines the principle of style adopting trends to those brands and there market from a marketing perspective.
