The national women's specialty apparel retailer, Dots, is standing fashionably tall as it was named to the Cleveland Plain Dealer's Top Workplaces list for 2010. The "Top Workplaces" list identifies the leading workplaces with at least 50 employees in the Cleveland area based upon the opinions of the employees. Dots emerged as one of the top standouts among 25 medium-sized firms.

Dots takes great pride in its selection of associates, training programs, fun and friendly culture, creative atmosphere and its desire to offer a fashion party workplace for its associates. "This is quite an honor and we are elated to be recognized among the best employers in Northeast Ohio," said Rick Bunka, Dots President.

"We are a fast-paced, high energy, fashion organization with an abundant resource of talented associates. For over 20 years, Dots has made a commitment to Northeast Ohio and the Greater Cleveland area and are pleased to be recognized as one of the best employers the region has to offer. While we continue to be identified as great place to shop, it's no surprise to hear that we are a great place to work as well!"

The rankings of the Top Workplaces are based on survey information collected by Workplace Dynamics, an independent company specializing in employee engagement and retention. The survey measured six different categories including: direction, management, execution, workplace conditions, career opportunities, and pay and benefits. The survey results were compared to the survey results of other companies in the same size category.

To qualify for the Top Workplaces list, a company must have at least 50 employees. Rankings were composite scores calculated purely on the basis of employee responses.
