Sports Authority as sporting goods retailer of Soccer 5 USA

Sports Authority, one of the nation's largest full-line sporting goods retailers, has signed on as a sponsor of Soccer 5 USA's 5v5 Soccer Tournament set to take place on August 14th, 2010 at the Kendall Soccer Park. Team registration is still open; all South Florida Soccer enthusiasts, regardless of age, are encouraged to sign up.
Earlier this year, Soccer 5 USA entered in an agreement with Miami-Dade Parks and Recreation Department to design, build, and operate 5v5 Soccer facilities at Kendall Soccer Park. Soccer 5's ultimate goal is to encourage interest in Soccer in the US, which has been bolstered by the admirable performance of the US team at the 2010 FIFA World Cup. Soccer5 USA is investing upwards of $1,000,000 into the new facilities and their online capabilities, providing soccer enthusiasts all over the US the opportunity to “Get in the Game”.

As a major supporter of community sporting endeavors and an overall active lifestyle, Sports Authority (SA) has donated essential equipment needed to organize the 5v5 Soccer tournament. SA has also extended, to all Soccer 5 USA members, a coupon promotion for a discount off the total price of any purchase. It's a great opportunity for our teams to equip themselves with top-of-the-line sporting gear and professional team paraphernalia; the promotion is valid until January 2011.
