Post their venture in to UK Trade and Investment expertise, Warwickshire based knitwear firm, The Alpaca Collection, is expecting its export sales to turn two-fold.

The firm is situated in Little Alne and is wholesale business generating, importing and designing alpaca knitwear.

Richard Hartley, firm's Managing Director entered this line of business, post his diccifult experiences while traveling in South America. Having decided to give something back to the people of the continent, he developed a reasonable trading association with the Bolivian manufacturers.

Now, with an intention to export more, he has approached UK Trade and Investment's Passport to Export program, to gain advice and expertise on handling business with a wide variety of nations.

Hartley has been aware about the steep fall of sterling against euro since last year and had therefore, decided to speak to the aforesaid firm for advice on global opportunities. He avers that, with the help of UK Trade and Investment they have been able to gain expertise, which otherwise might not have been possible.
