This October, Intertextile Shanghai Apparel Fabrics will offer a comprehensive seminar programme, with topics ranging from accessories and trims tips to design and trends as well as market information. The programme is scheduled to take place for three days from 19 October 2010 at Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Shanghai, China and will be held in tandem with the trade fair.

Over the course of three days, several new themes will be discussed on-site. Among the topics are:

• Intertextile Accessories and Trims Seminar Programme 19 & 20 October 2010

Topic: New accessories and trims technologies and trends for apparel manufacturers
Speakers: Avery Dennison, Freudenberg & Vilene International Ltd, Gunzetal Ltd, Swarovski and YKK

• Full day of “Design & Trend” seminars on 21 October 2010

Topic: 2011/12 Autumn/Winter Trend Forecasts with featured countries adaptation
Speakers hail from the world's fashion capitals including:

- China Textile Information Centre, China
- Verband Deutscher Mode-und Textil Designer e.V., Germany
- Italian Trade Commission, Italy
- JFW Japan Creation, Japan
- Korea Fashion Textile Association, Korea

• Product presentations and brand workshops Hosted by: Swarovski, Invista and Dow Corning

Apart from the new programme offered, several more informative discussions will be held from 20 – 21 October, ranging from:

• Design & Trend
• Market Information and Business Strategies
• Technology and Solutions
• Certification and Testings
• Legal issues

Additionally, seminars hosted by international exhibitors, including: Amann Group, Hyosung Corporation, NellyRodi ™ Agency, Nylstar SA, Promostyl, Stylesight, Testex Swiss Textile Testing Ltd and WGSN will be presented, as well as many domestic suppliers sharing company insight, including: Cotton Incorporated, Hohenstein Institutes China, New Wide Group and Shanghai Skytex Co Ltd.
