Double Decathlon wins for Damco

Leading global 3PL Damco won two contracts with Decathlon, an international sportswear and equipment manufacturer, in Vietnam. Damco was recently appointed to consolidate Decathlon's export shipments to Europe for two years. Cargo consolidation will be managed at Damco's container freight station in South Vietnam, 22 kilometers from Ho Chi Minh Port.
A second agreement sees Damco handling Decathlon's domestic raw material transportation from South to North Vietnam for a year. The raw materials will be delivered to Decathlon factories by a combination of sea and road transport solutions.
“We are very delighted with the series of contract wins from Decathlon. This affirms that our customers trust Damco to deliver effective logistics solutions and excellent service,” said Narin Phol, Country Manager for Damco in Vietnam.

Damco also manages import and export shipments for Decathlon in Thailand.
