Kohl's celebrates grand opening at West Manchester Mall

The Lightstone Malls, which is owned and operated by the Lightstone Group, announced that the grand opening of an 87,000-square-foot Kohl's department store was recently held at West Manchester Mall in York, Pa.

Based in Menomonee Falls, Wis., Kohl's is a family-focused, value-oriented specialty department store offering moderately priced, exclusive and national brand apparel, shoes, accessories, beauty and home products in an exciting shopping environment. By the end of September, Kohl's will operate 1,089 stores in 49 states.

West Manchester Mall features a national tenant line-up including Wal-Mart Supercenter, which opened in July 2004 and recently completed a $5 million renovation; Regal 13 Cinemas, the leading first-run, stadium-seating movie theatre in York, which is currently in the process of converting to all digital screen; and Macy's, the only full-line fashion store in the market.

"The grand opening of Kohl's at West Manchester Mall demonstrates a major building block towards the revitalization of the mall," said David Lichtenstein, chairman and CEO of the Lightstone Group.
