Developed by Ermenegildo Zegna through the intricate study of nature, the new 'Elements' Jacket filled with 'Cashmere Duvet',is the first technological innovation of its kind that combines climate change technology, that autonomously adapts to temperature changes, and the luxury of Mongolian cashmere fibres to insulate against the cold.
'Elements' is the pioneering climate-change heat sensitive technology, with its innovative 'pine cone effect' system, which emulates nature's design through the opening and closing of pores in the fabric. When open the pores in the micro fibre membrane allow water vapour produced by temperature change to pass through, which cools the body temperature; when closed they deliver perfect insulation from the outside environment. Furthermore to the outer surface of the jacket a finishing process has been applied which ensures that the jacket is rendered both stain and water-resistant.
By introducing the newly developed 'Cashmere Duvet' padding, Ermenegildo Zegna harnesses the natural performing properties of cashmere fibres, keeping warmth in and passing transpiration vapour out, maintaining the body dry and comfortable. Cashmere duvet padding exceeds the performance of other traditional insulators such as down feather or synthetic paddings.
