Heart Soul & Fame Jeans partner up to form Heart Soul Girl

Junior lifestyle apparel brand, Heart Soul, is teaming up with jean experts, Fame Jeans, to add Heart Soul Girl to its already extensive apparel and footwear collection. “Our goal is to freshen up the kids' floor with a fabulous fashion brand,” said Julie Brown of Heart Soul Girl. “We want to take that feminine Heart Soul feel and translate it into something that would appeal to the 7 to 12 year old set.”
Heart Soul is a casual and career junior lifestyle brand that offers the latest in trend fashions. As a leader in the junior contemporary market, this fun, affordable apparel line sells to department and specialty stores including Kohls, JC Penney, Sears, and Stage Stores, among others. Since partners Jodi Sundberg, Lars Viklund, and Kevin Talbot launched the brand in 1996, Heart Soul has grown into a label that offers the latest in related sportswear, key item separate tops and bottoms, and dresses. A recently launched plus size line is rapidly growing in popularity as well.
For the last 17 years, Montreal based Fame Jeans, has been specializing in private label, branded and licensed apparel for young men and boys, ladies - junior, contemporary, missy and plus, as well as girls 7-16. Fame Jeans has grown into a multidimensional fashion powerhouse for all commodities, genders and age groups while maintaining its reputation as a leader in the denim category. Fame's products can be found in most major department and specialty stores in the US, Canada, Latin America and most recently Europe. This new venture for Fame Jeans adds yet another dimension to an already dynamic apparel line up.
The new collection is set to retail and will include sweaters, jackets, outerwear, dresses, legging sets, key item separate tops and related separates in a variety of fun and fashion forward styles that will perfectly complement Heart Soul's Apparel line. In order to accomplish this Heart Soul Girl will be designed in L.A. by a separate design team headed up by Julie Brown in the Heart Soul headquarters and can be viewed at the Heart Soul showrooms in N.Y., L.A. or at Heart Soul headquarters in Gardena. HSG is scheduled to hit stores in time for back to school 2011.
