Italian clothing exports to China touch record highs

Italian Trade Commission said yesterday that Italy's clothing exports to China increased in value in 2010.
The amount which had touched US $290 million in 2009 rose to $390 million in 2010, up 34 percent year on year, creating a record high.
In recent years, Italy has attached great importance to Chinese market, due to which Italian apparel exports to China are increasing.
An Italian exhibition group made of more than 40 companies and over 60 national brands will participate in the International Fashion Fair in China to be held on March 28.
The Italian pavilion will be over 1,000 square meters, exhibiting men and women woven garments, knitted garments, fur clothing and all kinds of clothing accessories.
