MQ bags 'Rookie of the year' award

The Universum Swedish Student Survey, FöretagsBarometern, has named MQ “Rookie of the year” among the most attractive employers for future graduate economists in Sweden. Just over a fifth of the companies on the list were new for this year and among these MQ ranked the highest. Altogether, MQ ranked as number 48 of more than 200 companies, something unique for a rookie

– MQ aims to be the most attractive employer in the industry and this is a step in the right direction. MQ has a journey ahead and is a relatively small and flexible company with room for entrepreneurialism. Being a company with growth ambitions in anattractive industry helps, comments Johan Elfner, CEO of MQ.

Universum is a world-leading employer branding company. Each year, Universum's surveys are answered by 350,000 students and young academics in 27 countries. The Universum Swedish Student Survey is an encompassing and yearly survey about career, working life and the future. The survey has carried out since the beginning of the 90's and presents a picture of how students perceive different employers and their own future.

At a ceremony in Stockholm MQ was presented the award “Rookie of the year among the most attractive employers in Sweden. MQ was ranked number 48 among all companies and number 16 in the western part of Sweden.

MQ is one of Sweden's leading branded fashion wear chains. Through a mixture of proprietary and external brands, MQ offers men and women high fashion clothing in attractive stores. The store chain currently has 111 stores and the objective is to establish MQ as the leading brand chain in the Nordic region.
