Exhibitors at Fur Fair of Kastoria enriched with new ideas

36th International Fur Fair of Kastoria was for another year in the center of international interest. The Kastorian Fur Fair is the third most important in the branch.

Steadily but upward, the International Fur Fair of Kastoria, lately attracted the interest of many commercial visitors and many buyers from all the international markets, offering every year something new and innovative.

The traditional technique enriched with new ideas, new materials and new designs, the “heavy” fur give it's place in creations for all day and gain even the most demanding buyers' impressions.

Elegance is dominating, combined with quality and high aesthetics. The creative mood of designers combines classical and modern techniques with traditional techniques. These modern style collections gain the reward of all, in one glamorous Gala which could be compared with big catwalks of well-known fashion designers.

Collections for the modern woman, for man, for children, because furs do not concern only woman coats, cardigans, jackets, scarves (étole), dresses and fur accessories, which you can wear in many ways, with various combinations anytime and everywhere.

Fur is again in the foreground, gaining day by day more and more consumers, as one timeless and genuine product accessible to everyone.

The innovative lines, the delicate designing perception, the modern techniques treatments responded at high expectations of traders and buyers.

The President of Kastorian's Fur Association, Mr. Iraklis Kallisthenis, when he introduced the Gala, he thanked the sponsors of Gala : NAFA, AMERICAN LEGEND & KOPENHAGEAN FUR. Finally, he thanked the exhibitors who despite the financial crisis they participated and enriched this exhibition.

In the event of Hellenic Fur Federation which was held at the Conference Center of Fur Fair Exhibition on Friday the 6th of May in 2011 under the topic “Planning and Auctions taken by the IFTF and the Hellenic Fur Federation for the future of our trade”, after Mr. George Dinas greeting (President of Hellenic Fur Federation), were followed the lectures of : Mr. Mark Oaten, (C.E.O. of International Fur Trade Federation I.F.T.F). Of Mr. Mike Moser who is responsible for the program OA (Origin Assured) for the certification of the products and Mr. Knud Vest (President of the European Fur Breeders Association).

Afterwards, were awarded distinctions to newdesigners and to enterprises which produce clothes and have participated in Pan-Hellenic Competition of fashion design at years 2009, 2010 and 2011.
