The Embroidery and Direct To Garment Extravaganza has grown since its inception in September 2002. Now known as the Apparel Decorating Extravaganza, the name change comes to symbolize the expanding industry of apparel decorating. With more variety of new products, equipment and supplies in the market for embellishing apparel, the new Apparel Decorating Extravaganza encompasses all the new techniques and procedures available to Apparel Decorators today.

The Apparel Decorating Extravaganza (also known as ADE Shows) is a two-day event dedicated to learning and growing the apparel decorating business. Held at various U.S. locations throughout the year, the 2011 locations include Lancaster, Pa. on June 24-25; Montgomery, Ala. on July 22-23; Joliet, Ill. on October 7-8; Cincinnati, Ohio on November 4-5; and Richmond, Va. on November 18-19.

The Apparel Decorating Extravaganza is an opportunity to take advantage of in-depth education from top industry suppliers to learn about the latest in apparel decorating equipment and new technology. Demonstrations on machines and techniques will be shown, providing an opportunity to have any questions answered about embroidery machines, software, rhinestone machines, screen printing presses and direct-to-garment digital printing. Some of the free seminars include "The Business Of Apparel Decorating," "Getting Found On The Web" and "How To Identify Growth Markets." There are also three formal advanced classes, "Advanced SWF Machine Maintenance," "DTG Machine Maintenance" and "How To Profit From Rhinestones," each for a small additional fee.

Attendees can walk the floor on a come-and-go basis to see hands-on demonstrations conducted in the exhibitor's area. Participating suppliers include ColDesi, Stahls' ID Direct, Colman & Company, Bomark Sportswear and DTG Printers among others. Included in the admission price, all attendees receive a buffet deli-style lunch that will be available from noon to 1 p.m. each day. This is the perfect opportunity to network with peers in your area.
