Secrets of Winter – Striking balance between basics & fashion

Fortune Classic International, a Ludhiana based apparel exporter, has recently unveiled 'Secrets of Winter'; a womenswear brand, meant for the Indian domestic market.

The brand will focus on various women's age groups, with an emphasis on global dressing styles, which will have designs that strike a balance between basics and fashion.

The brand will offer high quality fashionable clothing at a reasonable price to its customers rather than offering limited piece editions at very high prices.

Giving details about the brand, Ms Simrankaur Sidhu, Proprietor - Secrets of Winter informed fibre2fashion. “We recently participated in a fair in Ludhiana. From the experience gained from the fair, we realized that a very good scope is available in Ludhiana and across India, as the domestic market is going quite fast.

She added, “However, we feel that a proper organized retailing channel is not available in Ludhiana, in the way the major and organised apparel brands function”.

Speaking about their expansion plans, she said, “We have just started two years back and are mainly involved in exports. So, as far as expansion is concerned, we are expanding slowly but basically we need to have appropriate product categories as well.

“Right now we are dealing in long coats and dresses which is completely a winter category, so we would like to come up with some summer articles as well, in the near future”, she wrapped up by saying.
