Online fashion retailer Voonik names Amazon veteran as COO

Indian online fashion retailer Voonik has named Raghu Lakkapragada as its chief operating officer and who worked at Amazon for 11 years.
This appointment comes within a month of the fashion retailer naming Prabhakar Sunder, former finance head of Myntra, as its chief operating officer.
According to the company, Voonik is ramping up its top-management hiring to help transform the company from a start-up to a mature organisation.
“Raghu Lakkapragada built the seller-fulfilled business for Amazon India from the ground up and as COO, he will ensure that the delivery, seller and customer experience of Voonik exceed those of Amazon,” Voonik said.
On his appointment, Raghu Lakkapragada said, “I am delighted to join Voonik. The company has made its mark in the industry in a very short span of time and I am excited to begin my journey.” (AR)
