Rupa bags most promising brand award from Economic Times

Indian innerwear manufacturer and marketer Rupa & Company has been recognised as the most promising brand for 20177-18 by The Economic Times. An extensive survey was conducted by Economic Times where 45 top brands were shortlisted after considering the parameters of innovation, brand value, brand recall, consumer satisfaction, customer service and quality.

Rupa has emerged as one of the largest manufacturer of hosiery and innerwear brand, in men’s branded innerwear category. "Not only 'Rupa' has evolved as parent brand for the company but its slew of sub-brands like Frontline, Air, Bumchums, Macroman , Softline,  Footline,  Kidline, Jon, Thermocot, Euro  and newly formed subsidiary OBAN Fashion Pvt Ltd –licensee of FCUK & Fruit of the Loom have made the largest product basket in our category in India.  Innerwear industry growing fast and and organised brands are dominating inner wear market. The innerwear industry in India has enormous growth potential and it is evident from the entry of many international brands in the last couple of years," Rupa & Company press release said.

At a recent event, the award was handed over to PR Agarwala, chairman, Rupa & Co Ltd by the sector head of The Economic Times, Rajesh Khubchandani. (RR)
