International Team picks Sunice as outerwear supplier

In its continuing partnership with the PGA Tour, Sunice, a marketer of apparel and accessories for golf has been selected as outerwear supplier for the International Team at The Presidents Cup 2015.
“The Presidents Cup will be held October 6-11, 2015, at Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Songdo IBD, Incheon City, South Korea,” a press release from Sunice informed.
Nick Price is the returning captain of the 12-member International Team, having also led the team in 2013.
“KJ Choi, who is from South Korea, will be the vice-captain, and Tony Johnston and Mark McNulty are reprising their 2013 roles as captain's assistants,” the press release said.
"Before the 2013 tournament, I took a poll from the team members to see what kind of outerwear they wanted for The Presidents Cup, and the winner was Sunice," Nick Price said.
"It turned out to be a great choice, as the weather was rough in Dublin, Ohio, so we used the Sunice gear often and for 2015, no poll was necessary, as the choice was obvious,” Price added.
The outerwear for The Presidents Cup 2015 International Team uniforms will be constructed of Gore Tex fabrics enhanced with Paclite Technology.
The players' uniform package includes a full-zip rain jacket with stretch back panel inserts; short sleeve rain pullover; rain pants; and a 3M featherless down vest.
The uniform colours chosen for the International Team were inspired by the South Korean flag and Sunice will also be outfitting the International Team caddies and entourage.
"It's a great honour to be invited, once again, to outfit the best international players," said Conrad Tappert, president of Sunice.
"Working with these demanding golfers makes us better as they notice every detail and so we love the challenge," Tappert too added.
