O Oscar women's sportswear collection at Macy's for Spring 2007

Oscar de la Renta Ltd, Federated Department Stores Inc, and Kellwood Company, announced an agreement to launch O Oscar as a better women's sportswear collection exclusively at Macy's for Spring 2007.
"This exclusive collaboration between Macy's, Oscar de la Renta and Kellwood on the new O Oscar line is an excellent example of what will draw new customers to our stores," said Terry Lundgren, Federated's Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer.
"It is great product from one of the most recognized and talented designers in the world, backed by outstanding execution and production expertise by Kellwood, coupled with Macy's ability to sell affordable fashion."
"Luxurious details and embellishment have always been important to my designs. In the past, we have been unable to faithfully execute these types of finishes at a price that is compelling to a broad audience. That has changed with Kellwood. To me, these clothes represent outstanding fashion value."
"Macy's is an ideal place to present our ideas for the better marketplace. We hope to expand the O Oscar label at Macy's to other merchandise including women's accessories, fragrance and men's clothing. We intend to establish a true lifestyle brand with its own unique identity," stated Oscar de la Renta.
