Abhishek Industries Ltd, the Northern India based textile major and a division of the Trident Group has been honoured with the “2009 Quality Award for Home Textiles” at the JC Penney's annual Supplier Summit.
Abhishek won the award for its Pure Perfection towel range, which is made from 100 percent cotton and has been designed to be soft, plush and extra absorbent.
This award is one of the many that Abhishek has received from the US based retailer and earlier too had been recognised for product development in bath towels.
In 2008-09, Abhishek Industries had bagged the IKEA Best Supplier Quality Award. The same award was conferred by JC Penny earlier for 2006 and by Wal-Mart for 2001, 2003, 2005 and 2006.
