adidas SLVR is a contemporary sportswear collection that fuses innovation and tradition. Under the creative direction of Dirk Schönberger, the label speaks directly from a fashion perspective, emphasizing precision tailoring and sleek silhouettes. Built on a principle of functional elegance, adidas SLVR creates an essential wardrobe filled with surprising details, breakthrough materials, and an effortless sense of chic.

adidas SLVR will be part of the Pitti Immagine Uomo in Florence, Italy for the first time from January 8 – 11, 2013. The Fall/Winter 2013-14 collection for men and women which includes all categories from apparel to accessories and footwear will be shown in a stand-alone booth of 100sqm at the Ynformal area, Costruzioni Lorensi on the ground floor.

“SLVR relies on the technical excellence of adidas while pushing the limits of sportswear. This fusion of performance and tailoring creates a look that I believe is highly relevant to culture today.” -  Dirk Schönberger

Through intriguing juxtapositions of fabric, shape, and silhouette, adidas SLVR strives to invent modern renditions of classic pieces. Womenswear inevitably plays with masculine and feminine archetypes, pairing sharp tailoring with fluid fabrics and romantic drapes. The men’s range, meanwhile, draws on elements of American sportswear while emphasizing the importance of the suit, the shirt, and other tailored staples. Footwear and accessories unite the house’s refined aesthetic with the innovative heritage of adidas. The results are expressions of style and function true to the spirit of adidas SLVR.

adidas SLVR resides within the adidas Style Division, which also includes NEO, Porsche Design Sport and Y-3, the sport-inspired luxury label in collaboraton with and under the creative direction of Yohji Yamamoto.
