Mayur Uniquoters begins production at Dodhsar Plant

Mayur Uniquoters Ltd, is one of the leading manufacturers of artificial leather/PVC Vinyl with a capacity 1.85 million linear meter per month and has demonstrated exemplary performance in the last few years, Mayur is currently operating at full capacity, It has currently four coating lines at one location situated at Village Jaitpura, Jaipur, Sikar Road, Tehsil: Chomu, District: Jaipur (Rajasthan).

The Company is a preferred OEM supplier to national and international automobile giants like Ford (USA), Chrysler (USA), Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, M&M, Honda Motorcycles and Scooter Limited and RP Automobiles and is exploring opportunities to supply to BMW, Mercedes and GM. It also supply to leading footwear manufacturers like Bata. Action Group, Liberty Shoes, Paragon, VKC Group, Lancer Footwear and Lehar Footwear. It also have a big customer base in replacement market and is supplying to esteem customers like RP Automobiles, Saddles, APN Auto Innovation Pvt Limited, etc.

Joined by Mayur Chairman and Managing Director, Suresh Kumar Poddar and employees at the Dodhsar plant on September, 28th 2012 celebrated the launch of production of new Knitted fabric Unit at Dodhsar plant. vv,'th state of the art knitting machines from Terrot and Hayer & CiE Germany. Interlocking Knitting Machine from Fukuhara, Japan and a brand new stenter from Bruckner, Germany, It is housed in the building of 75000 sq feet.

The Chairman and Managing Director of the company recognized the importance of the plant, the workforce as the new pillars to the future success of the Company during a ceremony at the plant. He stressed that success of the plant depends on the team work of the employees and the management. "We are on a high growth trajectory. We must continue to put our trust in each other and make a true, full-faith effort to achieve new heights together."

He further stated that Mayur has integrated backward into manufacturing of synthetic knitted fabric. Knitted fabric is the largest input value-wise, after chemicals like PU, PVC, etc. The biggest advantage of the backward integration would be availability of good quality knitted fabric. This would support production of high quality products especially for the domestic and export OEM's and reducing rejections & increasing margins.

Mayur is also in the process of installing its 5th coating line at the same location. Housed in a shed of size 60,000 sq feet, the new line from Matex Srl; Italy will add a capacity of 600,000 linear meters per month, to our existing capacity taking us to newer heights, with a total installed capacity of 2.5 million linear meters per month.
