Govt plans an Industrial Zone in India

The Government of Taiwan in collaboration with private sectors, is planning to develop an industrial zone in India. The National Development Fund plans to invest nearly 40 percent in the project, with primary investment of almost US $30.86 million dollars.

The aim of building this zone is not only to provide an industrial land to the Taiwanese enterprises but also to look for new business opportunities and investments in India.

Sources from the Government divulged that Andhra Pradesh will provide 1,200 hectares of land to the investors where in 1,000 hectares will be used for industrial use and the remaining land for residential purpose.

According to the statistics, Taiwanese entrepreneurs have invested approximately $400 million in India since last year. The experts believe that the business will grow further and the foreign investment will augment, after this project comes into effect.
