The successful development of Dimethylformamide (DMF) recycling equipments ensures that the imitation leather industry sustains its profits.

As a consequence the local government has expressed the desire to vigorously spread the technology against environmental pollution and for the promotion of local imitation leather industry.

The first imitation leather industry of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province had started in 1990 and today the region has over 108 manufacturers involved in the industry.

So much so that Wenzhou City has become one of the largest imitation leather production base China and even Asia.

Local waste water, gas and industry residue had severely polluted the areas in the past. However, from the time that Government has adopted new methods against pollution, environment has been considerably improved bringing a good amount of profit to the imitation leather manufacturers.

Government invested over 400 million yuan for environment protection. In fact, the Wenzhou Imitation Leather Co Ltd in collaboration with other science and technology organization began a special research about DMF recovery. This highly priced raw material can bring considerable economic benefits to the manufacturers.
