Denise & Mike to bring new ideas to NRF

The National Retail Federation announced that two of its senior staff members have been promoted to executive-level positions. Denise Brassé, Vice President, Membership, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Industry Relations and Mike Gatti, formerly NRF's Vice President of Marketing, has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Communications.

“We are extremely grateful for the knowledge and new ideas that Denise and Mike will bring to the NRF executive staff,” said NRF President and CEO Tracy Mullin. “Their expertise, leadership skills and professionalism will not only benefit our staff, but the entire retail industry.”

Denise Brassé joined NRF in 1999 as Director, Affinity Relations and was promoted to Vice President, Membership in 2002. In her new role as Senior Vice President, Industry Relations, Brassé will be responsible for the creation of strategies to support membership recruitment and retention in both the U.S. and abroad, educational conference content, and business development for NRF and its divisions.

She will also manage and support the Associate Member Advisory Council as well as oversee the Forum for International Retail Association Executives. Prior to joining NRF, Brassé had worked in membership, member services, and conference planning for groups such as the National Association of RV Parks & Campgrounds, the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the Virginia Hospitality & Travel Association, and the Greater New OrleansCouncil of Camp Fire. Brassé graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Communications.
