UBM introduces BIOS & Info Lead for exhibitors

To increase the success rate and the return on investment (ROI) of exhibitors, UBM Asia introduces two new promotion systems, namely the Buyer Invitation Optimiser Service (BIOS) and Info Lead to all its exhibitors.

With the Buyer Invitation Optimiser Service, exhibitors can get more direct sales leads as a result of a smart and innovative way of inviting their contacts to the exhibition. The exhibitors simply include the personalised priority codes that are assigned to them by UBM Asia on their pre-event promotion materials, be they in print, email or on website to their clients.

When a visitor enters the code of the exhibitor as they register to visit the event, the exhibitor will get an email alert from UBM Asia's registration system. The exhibitor can then contact their clients to acknowledge their visit and schedule a meeting with them at the fair.

"We know from research that a busy stand attracts more new customers. By inviting existing contacts and making sure that they really visit their stands, exhibitors increase their chances of getting new business leads. We are very pleased to extend the support to our exhibitors by offering them our free new Buyer Invitation Optimiser Service," said Jimé Essink, President and CEO of UBM Asia.

"BIOS is an additional investment for UBM Asia because of the re-development of our registration system and the printing of the personalised codes on the many thousands of visitor registration forms that go with the invitations we offer free to our exhibitors. We are willing to do so because our exhibitors need more support from us at such difficult times. As we keep emphasising: we bring together exhibitors and visitors to network and conduct business and interactivity between them is the high level objective that we as a professional organiser, have been striving for." Mr. Essink continued.

Info Lead is a brand new sales lead tracking and management service. It combines a mobile tracker with web-based leads retrieval system that facilitates exhibitors to conveniently create a leads database from the buyers they meet with at UBM Asia's exhibitions after scanning the barcode on the visitor badge.

Exhibitors can sort their leads with the qualifiers pre-set in the system or change these qualifiers for their own needs to have specific and relevant categorisations. Data captured can be downloaded and there is also a built-in email broadcasting feature to facilitate communications with buyers. "I do not need to explain the importance of sales leads. Info Lead will take our exhibitors a big step forward by maximising their return on investment in our exhibitions and UBM Asia will subsidise 50% of the cost of the mobile trackers ordered by the exhibitors this year," said Mr. Essink.
