The Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Manufactured Goods (Assintecal), with the support of the Brazilian Trade and Investment Promotion Agency (Apex–Brasil), aiming to strengthen the business relations of the Brazilian footwear components industry with Ecuador,is going to participate at the trade fair Piel Moda, to be held from June 24th to 27th in Quito.

According to the vice president of Assintecal's Foreign Market Dept., Mr. Evandro Kunst, with its participation at this international trade show, Assintecal intents to strengthen its business relations with the Tungurahua Footwear Chamber (CALTU), an association of the Brazilian leather–footwear sector in Ecuador.

“The Brazilian participation at the Ecuadorian exhibition will be very important to the advancement of the sector's business with that country. This action will extend the network of contacts, the obtaining of strategic information and partnerships, thus facilitating bilateral trade”, points out Mr. Kunst. Mr. Kunst also emphasizes that the participation at Piel Moda is going to contribute to the development of the Seller Project, to be conducted by Assintecal in September, in Ambato.

Feira Piel Moda Internacional is an annual trade show that focuses on products for the footwear, leather and related goods industry. Major participants at this event include manufacturers of leather, footwear, machinery, chemicals and other accessories and goods found in this production chain.
