Exhibiting for the first time, Ms Rebecca Liu from Kotai Tannery (Taiwan) agrees with this last point. « I am thrilled to have chosen LE CUIR A PARIS to launch our products. It's an effective show. Our visitors think that our products correpond perfectly well to their needs for the summer collections so I think it's evident that we need to be here in February too. », she affirms. Their vegetable tanned materials, totally metal-free, with spectacular finishings have certainly contributed to the success of Kotai Tannery in LE CUIR A PARIS.

Warm, natural, wild, satin, watered, classical and timeless leathers… have enriched the collections presented on the Trends Gallery as well as on the HOME MADE area (dedicated to interior design and furnishing), conceived by the French designer François Bernard and well appreciated by the visitors.

A total of 11 065 visitors was registered over the 3 days of the show. This represents an increase of 14,4% compared to Septembre 2009 (9 675).

« I have the impression that the buyers were more concentrated on their work, they understand leather better and target their research. » states Antonella Spisso from Studio Leather (Italy).

Increasingly more international, the diversity of visitors' nationalities was well perceived. « I am very satisfied with this first participation. Not only we have met the majority of our existing clients but we met a very international 'clientèle' coming from USA, Hong Kong, Northern and Eastern Europe », explains Mr Pascal Colombier from Mégisserie Colombier (France).

All end-product sectors are represented in LE CUIR A PARIS. The focus on home furnishing in the autumn/winter editions is giving results of efficiency : « Given that this was our first participation we didn't set any particular objectifs before coming but we are nicely surprised with visitor interest, particularly from shoes and furnishing sectors », declares Mr Kullmann, Managing Director of Nino Kouros (Brazil).
