Inspired by current trends, the shoes are made using superior-quality vegan materials like the water-resistant, uniform and strong Poromeric leather, which is a factory-produced 100 per cent cruelty-free raw material.
While speaking on the idea behind the launch of height-enhancer shoes, Prashanth S Devan, founder and CMD, D’vano, revealed in a media statement, “During my business interactions with associates from Europe and Central Asia, I always felt a little less self-assured because of my naturally shorter built in comparison, being Indian. Inspired by the popular character Gino Santangelo from Jackie Collin’s book Chances, I got the idea to use height enhancers inside my shoes. And this is how the concept of D’vano was born.”
The Bangalore-based company’s co-founder and executive director, Ajay R Hegde, said, “With the launch of our platform we want to create a true disruption in the market for men’s shoes. We are building a new category and are set to become the leaders in the space of height-enhancing shoes over the next three years with targeted sales of 0.5 million shoes.”
Apart from selling shoes through its home brand portal, D’vano also sells products through other online portals like Flipkart, Snapdeal, Amazon, Paytm and Shopclues. (PB)
