Home décor that can be easily worn as high-fashioned clothes—is an unusual concept that has been recently developed by the famous home furnishings retailer Mobilia in its first-time partnership with Canadian designer Mariouche Gagné.

The just released collaborative line includes more than 13 pieces of home furnishings, which can be alternatively worn as fashionable garbs, made from recycled luxurious materials like knits and original furs.

The fusion collection includes Norwegian fox fur made poufs, pillows and cushions that feature detachable trims which can be used as scarves.

Made using around 500 recycled sweaters, the range titled ‘Harricana for Mobilia’ also features throws that can transform itself into a warm cosy gorgeous poncho as well as Ottomans.

An alumnus of Domus Academy in Milan, Gagne is the owner of popular Montreal-based label Harricana. The label has earlier partnered with skiwear company Rossignol on creating fur and wool braids which could be worn as parkas.

Founded in 1966, headquartered in Montreal, Mobilia operates through a network of over eight stores in Quebec and Ontario.
