Bella Center has embarked on a structural reorganisation, an initiative which will, among other things, strengthen and develop fashion and design under the leadership of Kristian W. Andersen who, with 20 years in the industry, takes up his position on 1 September 2011.

A changing economic climate demands new strategic objectives to safeguard long-term investments in Scandinavia's biggest congress and exhibition centre. Bella Center A/S has therefore implemented a major restructuring of its organisation which, among other things, means that activities relating to fashion and design will be strengthened and developed. To handle this task, the group has appointed Kristian W. Andersen as Director for Fashion and Design.

Kristian W. Andersen brings solid experience with him from the fashion industry, among other things as Visual Merchandising Manager at SAND, co-founder and owner of the Annhagen brand and as Corporate Design Manager at REDGREEN. Most recently, he has held a position as Global Sales Director at Designers Remix. Kristian W. Andersen has also lived and worked in Paris for 10 years.

“Together with my new colleagues, I am very much looking forward to developing and repositioning Bella Center as Scandinavia's leading business and meeting venue for the fashion and design industry on the basis of its long-standing traditions which stretch back more than 30 years,” says Kristian W. Petersen, adding:

“I am very conscious of the fact that this is a position which we must work hard to maintain by appreciating the challenges which our customers face, and for which we need to deliver solutions which are both financially attractive and of a high quality.”

Kristian takes up his position on 1 September 2011, and will report directly to Bella Center A/S's CEO.
