Lotto is to double its Indian market share in the next two years by increasing its exclusive retail outlets to 20 during the period.
The Italian sports gear manufacturer would target cities like Muradabad, which are close to metros, and have business potential for the company's products, Sierra Industrial Enterprises Pvt Ltd (Lotto's sole distributor in India) CEO, Brands and Licensing, Jaswant Singh informed the media.
He said that footwear sector would fetch a major 65 percent of the growth, while the rest would come from the apparel industry.
Company has identified 14 Tier II and Tier III cities where it would open its exclusive outlets in the next two years.
Lotto would also expand its business by increasing the number of outlets from over 500 to 1000 during the same period.
The company has launched a range of 'fresh and youthful clothing' as tennis star Sania Mirza's Summer 06 'Signature Collection'.
Sania, Lotto's brand ambassador in India, launched the collection of T-shirts, skirts and capris.
The new collection is likely to add around 15 percent of company's growth in the country, Singh said.
