Freddy&Ma launches online custom handbags

Freddy&Ma, a designer of handbags and accessories, has announced the opening of an online boutique for designing custom handbags: http://www.freddyandma.com.
Fusing fashion and technology, the cutting edge website enables shoppers to direct the design process by combining different prints, leathers and hardware options to create original products.
Most designer handbags are copied within weeks of release. Because Freddy&Ma ensures originality through millions of possible combinations, an F&M customer is unlikely to ever see another person carrying her unique design.
Freddy&Ma was created by Anthony and Amy Pigliacampo, a brother and sister team with varied backgrounds in engineering and fashion design. They sought to use mass customization as a way to innovate within the copycat world of designer handbags.
President Anthony Pigliacampo notes "Unique is the new black. People want bags that no one else has and that are a reflection of their own style. Our goal is to give them the tools they need to express themselves and to create bags that are truly distinct."
Designing bags at Freddy&Ma is a visually engaging shopping experience with shoppers selecting from dynamic libraries of prints, leathers and hardware. Designs can be saved, emailed to a friend for a second opinion or purchased. Each bag is handcrafted just outside of NYC and shipped to the customer within three to four weeks.
Freddy&Ma bags are made from the highest quality fabrics, leathers and hardware, ensuring that the details of each bag garner as much attention as the unique designs.
