Jeweller Tomei plans spread across South East Asia

Jewelry manufacturer and retailer Tomei has 39 outlets and one kiosk in Peninsular Malaysia and plans to expand to Brunei, Vietnam, Indonesia and China through wholly owned (outlets) or franchising.
Tomei plans to invest about RM1 million on buying new machinery to produce hollow chains to increase their product offerings by the second half, this year.
The company has projected revenue worth RM192.30 million for the financial year ending December 31, 2006 forecasting a pre-tax profit of RM30.85 million; a 106 percent increase.
