Robbins hosts 8th Annual "Day of Hope" Children's Enrichment Day

Robbins Bros., World's Biggest Engagement Ring Store hosted the 8th Annual "Day of Hope" Children's Enrichment Day on June 20th, 2006 at the Industry Hills Expo Center. Robbins Bros. helped to provide a unique and memorable experience for several abused and cancer-stricken children in Southern California. Attendees included those from various local children's homes and foster family agencies, as well as Padres Contra El Cancer and A Foundation for Kids.
The day's festivities featured arts & crafts, carnival games, reading activities, basketball tournaments, and a water slide which turned out to be the main attraction on this warm summer day. Robbins Bros. employees served a lunch that included hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos and a variety of snacks throughout the day, to kids, parents and guardians.
KVEA-TV, the local Telemundo station, attended the event and broadcast a recap of the celebration on their evening news. Steve Robbins, Chairman and CEO of Robbins Bros., was delighted to host Enrichment Day: "We are passionate about serving underprivileged children in the community and this event was a heartwarming experience for all of us. We can't wait until next year's!"
Padres Contra El Cancer is a Southern California organization committed to improving the quality of life for Latino children with cancer and their families through support services, counseling, transportation and social services assistance. A Foundation for Kids was founded in 1999 to raise funds for over 3,000 abused and neglected children's homes and foster family agencies in Southern California.
Robbins Bros. World's Biggest Engagement Ring Store currently operates seven freestanding store locations in Southern California and two in Houston, Texas.
