For decades, Detroiters have patiently awaited the arrival of a fashion Mecca that would revive the city's cool factor. Finally, the wait is over.
Located at 1253 Woodward Ave. in the former Woolworth department store, the clothier and design company is the newest addition to retail shops along Merchant's Row.
Mark England Démodé is redefining downtown Detroit shopping by integrating nostalgia and modern sophistication for a one-of-a-kind experience.
“We're resurrecting the spirit of personalized service and elegance that J.L. Hudson's once offered downtown while offering the latest in fashion and design,” said Anthony Lambert, one of the store's founders and owners. “Mark England Démodé is upscale retail that's warm and inviting yet cutting-edge and high tech.”
The 3,500 square foot facility includes a designer showroom and relaxing lounge, featuring state-of-the-art technology and a juice bar. The space is available for private events.
Mark England Démodé is a men's and women's clothier and design company providing innovative custom and read-to-wear apparel to active, upscale professionals. From casual to couture, the Mark England Collection features fashions for anyone at any occasion.
