Sophie Ellis-Bextor stars at Monsoon's 'Create a Storm' Campaign

Monsoon has unveiled its latest 'Create a Storm' campaign featuring the beautiful singer, Sophie Ellis Bextor.

"I am really excited to be part of the new Monsoon campaign. Besides being very proud of the photos, I am also looking forward to wearing some of the clothes - I especially love the vintage inspired dresses", comments Sophie.

Following in the footstep of supermodel Jodie Kidd and Sophie Dahl, Sophie Ellis Bextor is the latest personality to model for the successful brand.

Famous daughter of ex-Blue Peter favourite Janet Ellis, Sophie was catapulted into the limelight in 2000 when she co-wrote and sang the catchy vocal for Spiller's "Groovejet". She's since gone on to establish herself as a solo artist, releasing two albums and various singles. In 2004 Sophie took some time out from her singing career to marry her musician boyfriend Richard Jones (bass player in hip band, The Feeling) and gave birth to her first child, Sonny
.
Sophie is now back. As well as making her debut as the face of Monsoon, she is also on the verge of relaunching her singing career with the release of a new single lat this year, titled "Catch you".

These amazing images show Sophie creating a storm in this season beautiful collection from Monsoon. Shot in central London, in an artists studio, Sophie looks fabulous in her role as the bohemian artist. Through the storm appears a rainbow…..Sophie strikes a pose - she is the perfect Monsoon girl.

These stunning images were shot by International photogapher and Mario Testinos protégée, Alexi Lubomirski. The exceptional production team also included stylist Anne Marie Curtis at Ellison Lee, hair stylist Gareth Van Cuylenburg at Julian Watson and make up artist Ashley Ward at Terrie Tanaka.
