Sports brand Li-Ning steps into international turf

When Spaniards won the World Basketball Championship held in Japan, Li-Ning brand's owner was happier than Spain's team. The reason is simple: Li-Ning provided sports jacket to Spain's basketball team. The brand has stepped into international turf.
As Chinese sport clothing brand, it is very difficult to compete with internationally famous brands like Nike and adidas. Li-Ning unit thought that innovation is an only way.
Recently, the brand has employed Nathan who was working as technical major-domo in Nike unit and another American famous design company. After Nathan's entry, the brand has introduced a new style, "Li-Ning Gong" gym shoes.
In last year, the sale of Li-Ning unit was US $250 million. As a growing enterprise, Li-Ning unit is seeking high technique and international tactic.
