A department store was launched by Malaysian firm Parkson Corporation on January 5, 2007 in Haiphong, which is its second Vietnamese shopping mall after the HCMC.
This outlet at TD Plaza Building, with the investment of $6 million, is another effort by Parkson to foray into the country's retail sector.
First floor includes brands of jewellery, cosmetics, perfumes and handbags, whereas second floor houses apparel, footwear, fashion and sportswear ones. Home furnishing and household wares are available on third floor.
Company will be opening about ten retail outlets in Hanoi, Can Tho, HCMC, Haiphong, Danang and other cities, for which $70 million investment is required.
According to Tham Tuck Choy, Managing Director, Parkson Haiphong, this outlet with its four floors aims to profit from rising demand for top quality items in Haiphong.
