Jablonex acquires costume jewelry maker Fried Freres

Jablonex Group of Czechoslovakia specializes in glass fashion jewelry components, Christmas tree ornaments, artificial flowers, coins and medals and also indulges in the production and export of these articles.
The group manufactures costume jewellery for some famous fashion houses of Paris such as Louis Vuitton or Chanel.
In order to boost its position in the foreign market, the Czech Company has acquired Fried Freres, which sells costume jewellery in countries like Europe, the US, and the Middle and Far East.
Fried Freres sells about 98 percent of its output in the foreign market.
The Jablonex Group has a staff of 3,500 and generates turnover worth CZK3 billion in 2005.
