Rip Curl selects retail software solutions from vcstimeless

As part its European growth strategy, Australian surfing brand Rip Curl has selected software solutions from VCSTIMELESS to optimise management of its retail activity and support its rapidly expanding 45-store network of company-owned stores and growing franchise community.

Currently being deployed in France, the project will then extend to nine more countries including the UK. Rip Curl is the third largest surfing brand in the world and one of Europe's leading retailers of technologically advanced surfing and snowboarding equipment, clothing and accessories.

With an annual turnover of 110 million euros, Rip Curl is opening new stores at a rate of one per month and significantly developing its European franchise operation. To keep pace with this ambitious expansion strategy, in December 2006, Rip Curl selected VCSTIMELESS' Colombus Enterprise head office and Colombus Reail store management solutions.

Olivier Cantet, President of Rip Curl Europe comments, "With ambitions to open more than 50 stores and double retail sales by 2010, we needed the tools and expertise to maximise the profitability of our prime-location stores.
