Lafuma's Le Chameau brand registers strong growth in Q1

At the close of a winter season marked by unfavorbale weather conditions, the Lafuma group nevertheless posted 5.3% in growth over the first half of the year.
While globally all four divisions progressed, more specifically 3 significant factors impacted business for the group:
• Strong growth for Le Chameau, up 16.3%, including an increase of 34% in international business and validation of our strategic focus on textiles for the brand (+47%). • A marked turnaround in camping furniture business, up 9.1% • International business grew by 14.3% and included performances of over 10% for Lafuma (+17.7%) and Le Chameau as well as in certain countries with high upward trends such as the U.K., Italy, Spain and Central Europe.
In addition to increases at Le Chameau, the other 3 main brands of the group performed as follows: + 3.7 % at Lafuma, + 4.3 % at Millet and + 4.4 % at Oxbow.
These results are in line with expected trends for the fiscal year, which can be viewed as better than the general market performance.
