NIVEA FOR MEN popular in China

The employees of the Chinese affiliate NIVEA (Shanghai) Company Ltd are happy with the success of the NIVEA sub-brands: Above all NIVEA VISAGE and NIVEA FOR MEN are continuing their steady growth.

During the past few years, Beiersdorf has successfully invested substantial resources in the development of these brands, as can be seen from the current market development.

NIVEA VISAGE was able to increase its annual sales by more than 50 %, including a steady expansion of its market share.

In an exceedingly dynamic market, NIVEA FOR MEN has been able to achieve a sustainable growth of 80 % per year, working its way up to become the undisputed No. 1.

This makes NIVEA the overall market leader in the face cleanser segment, both for women and for men. With a market share of 7.8 %, NIVEA VISAGE for the first time achieved a 4th place, and it is preparing itself for a jump to the No. 3 position.

And NIVEA FOR MEN, with a market share of 24.2 %, clearly leads the way ahead of the competitors Biore and L'Oreal Men Expert.
