The Italian luxury brand, Max Mara is on the verge of making its first appearance in India by September. The tie-up is with a Mumbai based fashion studio Kimaya.

While speaking to Fibre2Fashion, Nirbhika Parsani, CEO of Kimaya confirmed its debut in India and said the store would be the only one to enter into a collaboration with Max Mara. However, plans are still under discussion.

Talking further on the project, Parsani said, "To begin with, Max Mara will be housed at Kimaya stores itself and it will be made available at various locations like Delhi, Mumbai and so on."

However, revealing about its customers, the CEO added, "Our target customers are people who love and appreciate fine fashion. We offer the best in luxury to those who don't mind spending and expect the best that there is in the market."

Finally, Parsani talked about her expectation from this new venture. She said, "We are very positive about the response that we expect from our clients on our new venture. India is very fashion conscious and its people are more aware about their needs and desires. We are looking at this effort being a success".
