Mumbai-based jewelry maker Shrenuj & Co's AGM on Aug 28

Shrenuj & Company Ltd has informed that the 25th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the members of the Company will be held on August 28, 2007, inter alia, to transact the following:
1. To receive, consider and adopt the audited Balance Sheet as at March 31, 2007 and Profit & Loss Account for the year ended March 31, 2007 and the Reports of the Board of Directors and Auditors thereon.
2. To declare dividend for the financial year ended March 31, 2007.
3. To appoint Directors in place of Dr Badrinarayan R Barwale & Dr. Surendra A Dave, who retires by rotation and being eligible, offers themselves for re-appointment.
4. To appoint Auditors to hold office from the conclusion of this Meeting until the conclusion of the next Annual General Meeting of the Company and to fix their remuneration.
5. To borrow any sum or sums of money from time to time at their discretion, for the purpose of the business of the Company, from any one or more Banks, Financial Institutions, and other persons, firms, bodies corporate, notwithstanding that the monies to be borrowed together with the monies already borrowed by the Company may, at any time, upto a sum of Rs 1000 Crores over and above the aggregate of the then paid up capital of the Company and its free reserves and that the Board of Directors be and it is hereby empowered and authorised to arrange or fix the terms and conditions of all such monies to be borrowed from time to time as to interest, repayment, security or otherwise as it may, in their absolute discretion, think fit, subject to necessary provisions & approvals.
