Mr. Navarro to join Gottschalks Distribution Center team

Gottschalks Inc announced the addition of Mr. David Navarro as Vice President, Logistics. Mr. Navarro will join the Company's Distribution Center team and will report directly to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Gregory Ambro.
Mr. Navarro has more than 25 years of experience in distribution, logistics and corporate transportation. Prior to joining Gottschalks he worked for eight years with Liz Claiborne Inc where he served most recently as Director of Corporate Transportation and Customer Compliance and Director of Corporate Distribution.
Prior to that, Mr. Navarro held the positions of Director of Logistics at Stage Store Inc and Distribution Consultant at SDI Industries. He has also directed distribution and logistics at Casual Corner Group Inc May D & F and Foley's Department Stores.
Jim Famalette, chairman and chief executive officer of Gottschalks said, "We are very pleased to have Dave join Gottschalks. He brings extensive experience in retail as well as solid logistics management skills and knowledge that will add significant strength to our Distribution Center
team."
