Gottschalks new store in Elk Grove

Gottschalks Inc announced the opening of its new 58,000 square foot store in Elk Grove, California which brings some of the best quality fashion labels for women, juniors, kids and men to Elk Grove. The new Gottschalks store is located in the Laguna 99 Shopping Center at the major intersection of Elk Grove Boulevard and Hwy. 99.
A grand opening celebration and sale is scheduled for today, November 7th through Sunday, November 18th. Activities at the Elk Grove Gottschalks store include a contest to win a new 2007 Volkswagen Beetle, 500 dollar Ecko wardrobe, Dooney and Bourke handbag and more.
Makeup artists from key cosmetics lines including Clinique, Estee Lauder, Lancome and Elizabeth Arden will be on site and specialty representatives from DKNY jeans, Dooney and Bourke, Liz Claiborne, Skechers will be available for customer consultations.
On Thursday at 6pm the Company will hold its shoe and handbag "Diva Event" and on Saturday November 17th at 1pm it will hold a "Live Smart Look Smart" fashion show.
Jim Famalette, chairman and chief executive officer of Gottschalks said, "We are extremely pleased to be holding the grand opening celebration for our new Gottschalks store in Elk Grove."
