A.S.Roma - new jersey for UEFA Cup by Diadora

Apparel, footwear and accessories maker Diadora launched new Diadora jersey for UEFA Cup.
A.S. Roma's new jersey for matches in the international UEFA Cup was presented in the Trigoria Sports Centre. Their uniform was designed using the team's historic colour scheme to honour the club's past. Along with Diadora and A.S. Roma's top management, team captain Francesco Totti and the best-known players of A.S. Roma were all present.
Even Giacomo Losi was there, “the heart of Rome” and past A.S. Roma captain of the legendary team that won the UEFA Cup in 1961, the only time the team has won the Cup.
At this important event in European football there had to be an equally international host, Giulia Smith, the Australian model and prima ballerina at the Moulin Rouge, and also great A.S. Roma fan.
Perfect fit, technology and tradition: these are the materials that compose this new uniform, applying the very best of Diadora's technology and style to football uniforms.
The new jersey is almost like a team flag: white was used in the chest area to enhance the unique asymmetrical colouring of the sleeves, one yellow one red, and the two-tone stripe that starts at the collar and continues down the chest to the bottom of the jersey. Red and yellow details were also incorporated in the white shorts and socks.
This jersey is an ode to the historic colours of the team, but it does not overlook the importance of having a captivating style, original right down to the details. The fabric is made with two avant-garde materials, Lycra Dupont and Meryl Skinlife.
