Athletic Recovery Collection takes new twist on footwear from Earth

Four months prior to its market release, Earth's new collection of footwear uniquely designed for the pre- and post-recovery need of athletes has scored a major first. Worn by Competitive Race Walker, Tim Seaman, during his off-the-track hours of training and recovery leading into the 2010 USA Mile Race Walk Championships on Friday, the footwear has helped contribute to Seaman's preparation and his record-tying 42nd U.S. Race Walk national title.
Launching in August 2010, the new Athletic Recovery Collection™ takes a new twist on footwear from Earth, all of which is defined by a proprietary 3.7 degree incline from heel-to-toe. The new collection includes several athletic-inspired, work/weekend crossover styles designed for wear by serious athletes or weekend warriors when they're off-the-course or away from their given activity or pursuit. The collection was introduced to a positive reception at the recent OutdoorRetailer Winter Market in Salt Lake City, Utah, and will next be shared this week with prospective retailers at the World Shoes and Accessories show in Las Vegas, Nevada.
To enhance his pre- and post-recovery, Seaman is wearing styles from the Athletic Recovery Collection ahead of his intended participation in the 2012 Olympics in London. A Senior Advisor to Earth Footwear, Seaman will be featured in all marketing and promotion materials for the collection this fall.
