A leading retailer in affordable fashion reinvents itself in Milwaukee and throughout Wisconsin -- AJWright will open a new location on Thursday, May 6. Along with the store grand opening, AJWright is offering Milwaukee residents a celebration that will last through the end of May, with three grand re-openings and a real model search competition.

Beginning Thursday, May 6, 2010, at 8:00 a.m., AJWright opens its doors at 709 East Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wis., 53212 to offer the community current fashions at up to 70 percent off discount and chain store prices. AJWright is a leading off-price retailer that offers great deals on quality brand-name family apparel and footwear, accessories, home essentials, giftware, toys and more.

"We're pleased to offer accessible fashion at affordable prices and grow our own presence and impact," said Kathy Clair, AJWright assistant vice president of marketing. "In addition to celebrating our new and returning shoppers, it's important we reinforce our commitment by supporting the communities where we do business."

Grand opening festivities kick off with a special donation and presentation to the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee, celebratory ribbon cutting and an added bonus for early shoppers. The celebration continues after grand opening day with a real model search contest to find the next face of AJWright.

The open casting call will take place at the Milwaukee grand opening store on Saturday, May 15 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

At 7:45 a.m. on grand opening day, a representative from the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Milwaukee, as well as local dignitaries, will be present as AJWright makes a donation to the organization. AJWright supports the Boys & Girls Clubs of America on a corporate level with several programs throughout the year.

In addition to the Milwaukee grand opening, AJWright will unveil three additional re-designed stores on Friday, May 7. The refreshed stores will feature an enhanced shopping atmosphere, more functional store layout and brighter colors. Locations include Loomis Center, Midtown Center and Waukegan.
